Defective Joint Implants
THE ARTIFICIAL JOINT MANUFACTURER EXACTECH MAY SOON BE PAYING OUT BILLIONS OF $$ TO VICTIMS OF FAILED KNEE AND ANKLE IMPLANTS
The Zabriskie Law Firm is seeking large compensation packages for victims all throughout the United States of failed knee and ankle replacement implants from manufacturer Exactech. These faulty Exactech products include the following joint inserts and joint liners:
- Optetrak
- Optetrak Logic
- Truliant
- Vantage
These inserts and liners were defective and have demonstrated a significant risk of failure. The defect manifested as a result of packaging used for these devices from 2004 until February 2022. The recall involves nearly 150,000 devices. When an Exactech liner or insert fails the result can include:
- Sever pain
- Swelling
- Excessive wear
- Bone loss
- Loosening of device
- Clicking or popping sensations in joint
- Broken joint implant component
Any of these problems can result in the need for another joint replacement that will be more and expensive, more painful, and of greater risk than the original joint replacement surgery.
If you had a knee or ankle replacement surgery since the begging of 2004 and if your implant device has failed, you may be entitled to a large cash settlement from Exactech
